Publication - Ways of Looking: Evidence

The search for evidence is a creative, interrogative and
constructive pursuit.
Published to coincide with Ways of Looking the UK'S
newest photography festival staged in Bradford's city centre, this
book draws together newly commissioned works by internationally
renowned Magnum photographer Donovan Wylie, and Turner Prize
winning artists Jeremy Deller and Douglas Gordon, amongst
others.
Edited by Anne McNeill, with an essay by historian and
award-winning writer Kester Aspden and texts by leading
commentators and curators in the world of photography including
Gerry Badger, author of the acclaimed The Genius of Photography and
Greg Hobson, Curator of Photographs at the National Media Museum
Ways of Looking: Evidence has a shelf-life beyond that of
the festival.
Featuring new work published for the first time, this book offers
a valuable insight into the question 'can photography be a carrier
of facts?'
Available for £5 from all festival venues.
